"To enhance and institutionalize the e-Extension system in agriculture, fisheries, and natural resources for optimal application, utilization and exchange among users and partners."
e-Learning
The e-Learning for Agriculture and Fisheries is a major component of the Department of Agriculture's e-Extension Program, with the Agricultural Training Institute as the lead implementing agency, in collaboration with other government agencies, state universities and colleges and nongovernment organizations.
The e-Learning courses are delivered online and with a blended approach integrating field activities and face-to-face interaction between learners and experts. Learners will also have the opportunity to interact through online discussion forums and will have an access to a wide array of free digital resources to enhance their knowledge on the e-learning courses as well as other relevant agricultural information which will help in making the right decisions for their farms.
